Trans Pennine Trail Maps

The maps can be downloaded to some, but not all makes of GPS

Most of the route is pretty straight forward and you should have no problems navigating using the waymarked signs./

Final Arrangements

The route is being ridden from both ends starting Saturday 28th August at 0900 each morning:

28th Southport.  Marine Drive Roundabout - Parking Pleasureland
        Hornsea    Leisure Centre
29th  Statham Avenue Lymm by TPT sign
        Selby - Market Place, Londesboprough Hotel
30th  Barnsley - to be announced

They're Off -  The Trans Pennine Trail, 2009 is under way








 Photographed at the start of the Trans Pennine Trail; on Friday Morning a team of riders from the  South Yorkshire area, supported by George Spencer of the Barnsley Branch, head east in a three day dash back to Hornsea on the Yorkshire Coast.  There to see them off was Joanne Dobby of the NW Regional Staff, who took the photos.
