Joining Request Agreement

I would like to join the End to End riders for a day, In doing so, I undertake to raise a minimum of £200 for the Parkinson’s Disease Society research fund. I am a voluntary, independent road user, will comply with the law and act responsibly at all times. I will not pedal in pairs, ride in convoys or in any other way obstruct the road. I will wear a helmet and a high visibility cycling top.  I will sign in on the morning of my participation and sign out at the finish or should I pull out during the day, thus ensuring that it is know that I have started and finished. I will ensure that my bicycle is in a good state of repair and I will take responsibility for my own punctures, repairs, food, drink and transport to and from the start and finish and for insurance.  I am in good state of health and fitness and will prepare in advance for the day to ensure that I am able to complete the journey.  I agree that should  the End to End riders or their support driver feel that I am unsafe, a danger to other road users or myself, physically distressed, unwell or struggling to ride at a reasonable pace, that I could be asked to withdraw, in which case I would comply. I agree that the End to End riders and their support driver are not responsible for my safety, health care, well being, cycle repairs or transport.  The End to End is organised by Pedal for Parkinson’s.
