End to End to End Parkinson's Disease
was the name chosen by three friends, David Greaves, Bruce Lorimer and Neil Manning, all with Parkinson's Disease, for their 1000 mile journey from Lands End to John O' Groats by bike in 2008. We not only proved that people with Parkinson's can still set their sights high and overcome great challenges, but the potential for raising funds by inviting other sponsored riders to join us for a day was enormous. We treated the year as a dry run for a mass-participation ride in 2009. Many lessons were learned and £10,000 raised.
A full account of our journey in 2008 can be seen here.
End to End to End 2009 will be bigger and better:
We aim to raise £100,000 for research this year!
The team is 6 riders, aged 36 to 64
Riding a route through many major cities
We hope to have riders from every PD Society branch join us
Note that all riders and the support team in End to End plan to cover their own expenses - every penny donated will go towards research into a cure!

I needed to spread the net.
